Okay, so maybe Obama isn’t really a secret Muslim. I mean, I don’t think editorial cartoonists are completely convinced of this. But what other racist spectres can they invoke?

A few cartoonists couldn’t even bring themselves to show the white ladies smooching on Obama, but made the message clear:
Why are these white women so attracted to the swarthy Obama?

Up until that last one you could kind of just squint and pretend it’s all just sort of smarty-pants literary readings about how nerdy white journalists are so afraid that their women all want to screw black dudes, and it’s kind of objective and maybe it’s not real and blah blah blah…but that last one? That last one’s kind of straight-up unforgivably inexcusably obviously racist.
